November blog

After a full year of hard work, Pitcher Roy Halladay got his payment. Even though he did not win a world series, he still got an award. He received the Cy Young Award which is in honor of the best pitcher in the MLB. Roy Halladay became the first pitcher to win this award in both league. The other pitcher that did this was Roger Clemens.
Personally, to me I am a major advocate of this. After pitching his term that far into a season really deserves something. Almost every appearance he had this year was quality. After throwing the second no hitter in playoff history, this is one reason why he deserves this award.

  1. I also agree that Halladay earned the Cy Young award. Yeah he didn't win the world series, but his performances throughout the year outweigh one world series win. Besides his pitching made baseball history in his season anyway so that should be more then a legitimate reason to give him the reward .
